Hey there, changemakers! 🌍 Are you passionate about making a difference in your community? Ready for sexual reproductive health and rights (SRHR)? Well, get pumped because something epic is coming your way!

As Sonke prepares for the second conference on sexual reproductive health and rights in Africa organized by MEA, guess what? You're invited, too! Yes, you heard correctly. We're inviting all the amazing youth between the ages of 18 and 35 to come along on an incredible adventure of empowerment, learning, and sharing.

What's the deal, then? We would like to hear about YOUR experiences, YOUR solutions, and YOUR tales. And what do you know? We want it in storyboards, which is the coolest format ever!

Here's the lowdown:

  • Part A: Show us what's up in your community. Let those creative juices flow and depict the real-deal SRHR experiences and challenges young folks like you are facing. Think of it like painting a picture of reality with your own unique brushstrokes.
  • Part B: Time to shine! Tell us about the awesome stuff you're doing to tackle those challenges. Whether it's organizing workshops, starting a campaign, or simply being there for your peers, we want to hear all about it!
Hold on, though—we're not simply searching for any old storyboard. The best of the best is what we desire! At the symposium, the tales with the most compelling images and juicy storytelling will take center stage. Yes, exactly—your artistic creation might be on display for everyone to see!

So, what are you waiting for? It's time to grab your markers, pens, or tablets and start crafting your story. Let's make some waves, break some barriers, and show the world what youth power is all about!

🚀 Apply now and let's rock Nairobi together!

🚀Send in your application to Ontlametse Raleru on ontlametse@genderjustice.org.za by 31st May 2024.
