AfricaGender Indaba – Edition 2 (40 Mins)

In this second edition of the week-day AfricaGender Indaba, Khopotso Bodibe tackles the pervasive problem of rape – a scourge that threatens many girls’ and women’s lives – and increasingly men’s and boys’ lives – as they are also at risk of rape and sexual assault. We’ll also hear how the High Court in Nairobi, Kenya, has given a ruling that effectively forces Parliament to increase the number of female Parliamentarians. And, finally, we hear how women across Africa are fighting for autonomy, respect and equality.
