The news of your death came to us as shock. Sorrow fills our hearts this sad moment, a sorrow that is deep. Khopotso has silently closed the door of life and departed from us.

Albert Einstein said, “The value of a man should be seen in what he gives and not in what he is able to receive.” In other words, Khopotso was a strategic thinker, a visionary who was brilliant, innovative, and creative. As such, he contributed much to the development of Sonke Gender Justice and all the 22 MenEngage Alliance member countries. He generously gave us his knowledge, his expertise, his skills in fact he gave his all.

Khopotso, though have never met any of us in Nigeria, responds swiftly to any challenge we encounter with our social and other media engagements.

Your work spoke volumes, your love for storytelling helped the world understand the challenges vulnerable segments of the world face and it’s good to know that your work has impacted their lives positively.

Though we are sad, we are comforted by the thoughts that you are resting in a better place. May your kind soul continue to rest in the bosom of the Almighty Lord.

Adieu Khopotso!

Till we meet to part no more!
