MenEngage Rwanda – Sub-regional Representative: East Africa
Bruce Sakindi is a global leader, NGO founder, serial entrepreneur, and multi‑disciplinary artist working at the intersection of youth‑led civic engagement, green urban innovation, manufacturing, and youth‑driven economic transformation in alignment with Africa’s Agenda 2063. As Co‑Chair of MenEngage Africa, he leads the steering committee overseeing civic engagement across 23 countries and more than 600 NGOs, championing youth leadership, gender equality, and grassroots economic development. He is also the co‑founder of the Grow Up Smart Organization, which focuses on early childhood education and youth economic empowerment, and previously served as Curator of the World Economic Forum’s Kigali Global Shapers.
In his entrepreneurial ventures, Bruce founded AKU, an AI‑powered market intelligence and capital investment system for Made‑in‑Africa manufacturers, and co‑founded Tuuza, a green sports and business training center, and Kuza Africa, a creative hub for entrepreneurs. His international experience includes serving as Assistant to the Honorary Consul of Finland in Rwanda, and he currently represents the Trade and Investment Council (TATIC) Global and the Austrian Commercial Counselor in Nairobi. A published author of Pendulum, Power Cards, and Peace and Purpose, Bruce contributes to global dialogue on bridging the African diaspora, activating Pan‑African leadership, and advancing inclusive industrialization, with a strong emphasis on personal transformation, creative innovation, and elevating the next generation of African leaders.
