Regions

MenEngage Botswana

MenEngage Botswana is a network of NGOs that advocate around a number of key issues where gender directly affects the lives of women and men.

MenEngage Burundi

Burundi MenEngage Network aims to promote gender equality through active non violence and peacebuilding attitudes in Burundi.

MenEngage Cameroon

MenEngage Cameroon is led by Community Centre for Integrated Development (CCID) as the network’s Secretariat.

MenEngage DRC

Congo Men’s Network (COMEN) is the MenEngage in-country network activities coordinator for the DRC.

MenEngage eSwatini

The eSwatini Country network is chaired by the Swaziland Action Group against Abuse (SWAGAA)

To collectively share the efforts, best practices, and resources of organizations and individuals to promote the constructive involvement of men and boys to ensure the wellbeing of women, children, and men in Ethiopia.

MenEngage Kenya Alliance

KEMEA Network views gender equality as integral to its operations and for the creation of nonviolent and gender-just societies in Kenya. The network uses a rights-based approach due to the all-pervasive systemic gender discrimination and gender inequality.

MenEngage Lesotho

MenEngage Lesotho is a network of organisations and associations whose purpose is to engage men and boys in all efforts geared towards the promotion and protection of the rights of women and girls.

MenEngage Liberia

MenEngage Liberia was formed in August 2017. It is a network of NGOs coordinated by the Center for Justice and Peace Studies (CJPS).

MenEngage Madagascar

MenEngage Madagascar Secretariat, C-for-C, was founded in 2007 and it has primarily worked to provide capacity for micro-entrepreneurs through training, mentoring and network support.

MenEngage Malawi

Men for Gender Equality Now (MEGEN) Malawi coordinates the MenEngage Malawi in-country network activities.

MenEngage Mozambique

The Mozambique Country Network is chaired by HOPEM, which is coordinated by a steering committee hosted by the National Forum of Community Radios.

MenEngage Namibia

The Namibia MenEngage Network is coordinated by Lifeline/Childline Namibia, whose focus is on holding consultative meetings with individuals and organizations to build a fully functioning MenEngage country network in Namibia.

MenEngage Nigeria

MenEngage Nigeria started in July 2018 under the Secretariat of Society for the Empowerment of Rural People (SIRP).

MenEngage Rwanda

The Rwanda MenEngage network was established in 2018, and is led by a Steering Committee coordinated by Rwanda Men’s Resource Centre.

MenEngage Sierra Leone

Men’s Association for Gender Equality-Sierrra Leone (MAGE-SL) is a network of male-led organisations working to promote gender equality through advocacy, dialogue and raising awareness on gender policies, women’s rights and empowerment.

MenEngage Tanzania

MenEngage Tanzania is an umbrella network that brings together 29 civil society organisations and actors working with men and boys to promote children’s, youth and women’s rights in Tanzania.

MenEngage Togo

MenEngage Togo was formed in September 2017 and is hosted by the Alliance Fraternal Aid for Development (AFAD), a national non-profit NGO based in Kpélé Elémé.

MenEngage Uganda

MenEngage Uganda aims to promote gender equality through transforming men and masculinities in Uganda.

MenEngage Zambia

This chapter is coordinated by the Zambia National Women’s Lobby (ZNWL) Men’s Network Project.

MenEngage Zimbabwe

The organisation works to address gender equality and the rights of women, girls and key population groups, to access sexual reproductive health services and rights by confronting complex issues like culture, human rights and stigma.
