Strategic Partner: Child Rights – Save the Children
Emmanuel Modikwane is the Head of Child Rights Governance (CRG) at Save the Children South Africa. He played a pivotal role in developing the National Child Participation Framework, ensuring that children meaningfully influence decisions that affect their lives. He was also instrumental in establishing the South African National Child Rights Coalition (SANCRC), where he serves as Secretary, and helped secure children’s participation at the International Labour Organization’s Global Conference on the Elimination of Child Labour in 2022.
He currently serves as Vice‑Chair of the Child Rights Network of Southern Africa (CRNSA) and has held leadership roles in national and international NGOs, focusing on governance, advocacy, and policy influencing. Most recently, he led the CRG Working Group under the Accelerated Plan of Action for Children (APAC) in the Presidency of South Africa. Emmanuel remains an active member of several national and regional reference groups, advancing an inclusive and transformative agenda that delivers All Rights, for All Children, in All Contexts.
