Youths' access to sexual and reproductive services and information

This case study report outlines two successful advocacy strategies carried out by MenEngage Africa Alliance and Sonke Gender Justice. These strategies were carried out in Kenya — the Chanuka Strategy, and Malawi — the Social Accountability and Monitoring Project. Both initiatives were developed during 2019 and are still in the first stages of implementation. The case study intended to identify promising practices that emerged from the implementation of the initiatives that could be replicated by other projects, while showing successful initiatives for change. The case study also provides an update status on the international, regional and national legal framework for sexual and reproductive rights, their relationship to the youth, and the main challenges each country faces.
